I Am an Onion is a project that emerges from a simple practice: the documentation of instances of crying over the course of a year.

The titular metaphor is driven by similizing cutting into an onion and dissecting one’s emotional landscape—both resulting in tears.

Designer Diner is a potluck that mainly catered to Parsons Communication Design majors. Organized through The New School chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the event aimed to promote a sense of community.

Pantry Essentials is a 4-color Risograph printed print project that hightlights condiments utilized in Asian, specifically Chinese, cooking. It exists as a 28-page saddle-stitched pamphlet and an accordion zine

This publication attempts to communicate my experience moving to New York, where sourcing ingredients reminiscent of my native cuisine became a deliberate endeavor.
